How do I enroll in Work4U-Tutor?
Enrolling as a student on our platform is straightforward. Simply select “BECOME A STUDENT” on our website, complete the registration form, and submit. This will grant you immediate access to search for and select the most suitable tutors for your learning needs.
What are the age requirements for joining Work4U-Tutor?
Individuals must be at least 6 years old to join Work4U-Tutor. Minors under 18 years of age require a parent or guardian to complete the registration process on their behalf.
Is there a fee to register on Work4U-Tutor?
Registration on Work4U-Tutor is free of charge, ensuring access to our educational resources without initial costs.
How many tutors can I engage with concurrently?
You are free to engage with multiple tutors simultaneously. However, it is crucial to manage your schedule to ensure you can fulfill all class commitments without compromising your educational experience.
How are classes scheduled with a tutor?
To schedule a class, purchase a class package from your chosen tutor and then select appropriate time slots from the tutor’s available schedule that fit your daily routine.
How are payments handled with the tutors?
Payments are not transferred directly to tutors. Instead, Work4U-Tutor acts as a custodian. Following the completion of each class, the tutor must submit a Class Completion Notification. Once you acknowledge this report within 48 hours, the funds for that class are released to the tutor.
What recourse do I have if a tutor discontinues their service before completing all scheduled classes?
Should a tutor cancel their profile or if classes are uncompleted, any prepaid funds will be returned to you as a voucher for future use with another tutor, safeguarding your educational investment.
What are my rights if I am dissatisfied with my tutor's performance?
You have the right to discontinue classes with any tutor if their performance does not meet your expectations. Any remaining class credit will be refunded as a voucher for use with another tutor.
Is it permissible to exchange contact details with a tutor?
For privacy and security reasons, exchanging personal contact details with tutors is strictly prohibited. Any breach of this policy may result in deactivation of your profile.
Are tutors permitted to solicit personal contact details from students?
Tutors are expressly forbidden from requesting personal contact details from students. Violations of this policy will lead to immediate deactivation of the tutor’s profile.
What attire is appropriate for participating in lessons?
Students are expected to wear non-offensive attire covering at least 80% of their body. Tutors have the authority to terminate a class if they find a student’s attire inappropriate, which may result in a penalty fee for the student.
How should I respond if a tutor behaves inappropriately during a class?
Document any inappropriate behavior immediately for potential review. Terminate the class and report the incident through our support channels, attaching any evidence you have gathered. We may require you to participate in follow-up meetings to further investigate the matter, and we reserve the right to seek legal counsel or notify authorities depending on the severity of the misconduct.
How can I provide feedback on my tutor's performance?
After each class, you are encouraged to rate and review your tutor. Feedback should be constructive and respectful. Any abusive comments will result in the removal of the feedback and potential suspension of your account.
How can I join as a Tutor?
To join as a Tutor, first, you need to fill out the form found on the “BECOME A TUTOR” page. Complete it with all your personal details and required documents, then click submit. We will contact you via email to set up an interview to assess your background and teaching skills. You must come to the interview well-prepared, bringing the original documents uploaded in the form. Having your certificates is a plus. After the assessment, our admin will notify you if you have passed the interview. If successful, your profile will be immediately activated.
What are the minimum requirements to apply on WORK4U-TUTOR?
Minimum Age: 23 years old – High school diploma – Previous teaching experience is a plus – Willing to teach eager students from all around the world
How much can I charge per class?
You can charge your classes at the price you deem most appropriate.
What is the duration of any class?
Each class lasts 50 minutes. It is your responsibility to ensure that this duration is respected.
What video platform do I require to use?
None. We provide our internal video platform, and you are required to use only the video platform provided. Using external video platforms with our students is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate cancellation of your account.
Can I propose in-person classes to students?
No, for security reasons, no in-person lessons can be conducted at this time. We might revisit this rule in the future.
When can I receive my payment?
You can receive your payment after the class bought by the student is completed and a Class Completion Notification is received by both Tutor and Student.
How long does it take to receive the money?
From the time both Tutor and student acknowledge the completion of the classes, it will take between 5 to 7 working days.
Do I need a specific attire during the online classes?
Yes, smart casual attire is required. Inappropriate attire will lead to the suspension of your account.
Can I organize group classes?
No, the classes are strictly one-to-one.
